Special Operations

(SO) What is its activity and its missions ?

The department of special operations (SO) IVAO Algeria is responsible for all extra-civilian and commecial activities on the national territory within the FIR DAAA.

It concerns all military flights, test flights, air missions of military and security forces (police, gendarmerie) as well as rescue and relief missions.

He is therefore in charge of :

• Execute and enforce all SO-HQ rules by monitoring extra-civil activity on the network.
• Develop the Algerian division’s own tools related to the missions assigned to special operations.
• Manage (SO) air controls in the DAAA FIR.
• Develop a calendar of SO events in relation with the SO-HQ and SO departments of other divisions.

The SO Algeria department is newly commissioned, it is in the construction phase and is looking for members with knowledge in the management of military operations. Candidates are welcome.
